A brief look at the life Of Hazrat Pir –E Tariqat
Thy name is Saiyad Rais Ashraf Ashrafi ul Jilani. The people often refer to hazrat as miracle of Ghaus E Aazam, Taajus Sufiya, Khambhatwale Hazrat etc.
Hazrat’s lineage can be traced to Hazrat Ghausul Aalam Mehboobe Yazdani Sultanul mashaikh Tariqussultanat Ohaddin Makhdoom Sultan Saiyad Ashraf Jahangir Simnani (R.D.)’s nephew, Khalifa E Azam, Qudwatul Aafaq, Qarimuttarfain, Haji ul Harmain, Ashraful Aafaq and Sajjadanashin Hazrat Saiyad Abdurrazzak Nurul Ain (R.D.)’s family.
Haji ul Harmain Hazrat Saiyad Abdurrazzak Nurul Ain, is from the family of grandson of prophet (S.A.W.), Hazrat Imam Hasan (R.D.) and Ghaus E Paak Hazrat Saiyad Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.D.) and his wife Saiyada Sultana Bibi (R.D.) is from the family of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.D.). Hence Hazrat Saiyad Rais Ashraf is called Najeebut Tarfain i.e. Hasani Hussaini Saiyad.
Hazrat Sahab was born on 14th Zilhaj, Monday,1375 Hijri i.e. ( 05.01.1959) in Ahmedabad, Gujrat. India
Hazrat Sahab’s initial education began with Dars-e-Quran at Baskhari Sharif, Dist. Ambedkarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India under his maternal grandfather, the first Mohaddis of the Ashraf family, Hazrat Saiyad Shah Allama Maulana Abul Fazal Nihal Ashraf Ashrafi-ul-Jilani (r) (who passed away when Hazrat Sahib was only 10 years old).
From the age of 6, Hazrat Sahab was admitted into the first Madrasa (religious school) of Baskari Sharif, Dar-ul-Uloom Mehboob-e-Yazdani. His teachers were Hazrat Allama Maulana Pir-e-Kamil Saiyad Maaroof Ashraf Ashrafi-ul-jilani and Allama Maulana Qari Hazrat Saiyad Mausoof Ashraf Ashrafi Ul Jilani. Under their guidance he completed his Ilm-e-Deen studies (Quran, Hadith, Islamic, etc).
In 1985, Hazrat Saiyad Rais Ashraf married Saiyada Zainab Fatima, daughter of Hazrat Sufi-e-Millat Allama Maulana Saiyad Jahangir Ashraf Ashrafi-ul-Jilani.
In 1986, Hazrat Sahab completed his religious education and spiritual training. Hazrat’s Spiritual Mentor Pir Saiyad Azim Ashraf Ashrafi-ul-Jilani, who directed Hazrat Sahab throughout his life now took him totally under his influence and made him his murid (disciple) and first Khalifa (representative). Hazrat Sahab also received Khilafat from Hazrat Allama Maulana Ashrafi ul Mashaikh Alhaj Saiyad Mohammed Mukhtar Ashraf Ashrafi ul Jilani Sarkare Kalaan.
With the command of Piraane Pir Dastagir, Roshan Zamir, Mehboobe Subhani, Qutbe Rabbani, Miraan Saiyad Mohiuddin Abdul Qadir Jilani Ghaus Paak (rd), hazrat left this material world and entered the Spiritual World.
He started his spiritual journey from the shrine of Hazrat Ghaus ul Alam Saiyad Makhdoom Ashraf Jahangir Simnani (rd). Then he went to Bharaich Sharif , visiting the shrine of Hazrat Saiyad Salar Masood Ghazi (rd), Hazrat Waris Ali Shah (rd) Deva Sharif, Hazrat Makhdoom Mina Shah (rd) Lucknow, Hazrat Saiyad Zinda Shah Madar (rd) Makanpur, Hazrat Qut-buddin Bakhtiyar Kaki (rd) Delhi, Hazrat Mehboob E Ilahi Khwaja Nizamuddin Awlia (rd) Delhi, Hazrat Nasiruddin Chirag Dehlvi (rd) Delhi, Hazrat Boo Ali Shah Qalandar (rd), Panipat, Hazrat Makhdoom Sabir Piya Kaliyari (rd) Kaliyar Sharif, Hazrat Khwaja E Khwajgaan Saiyad Moinuddin Hasan Chishti Khwaja Garib Nawaz (rd) Ajmer Sharif.
He spent time at every shrine, according to the commands of the Buzurgs, performing zikr, wazaif, chilla (sritual prayers, meditation and spiritual retreat) night and day, so that he could seek the blessings of the buzurgs & serve humanity. Hazrat received Faiz and Barakaat from these Buzurgs.
Then, he arrived in Khambhat, Gujarat on 14th Zilhaj 1987, at the shrine of Sarkar Shah E Miran Qutub-e-Rabbani, Mehboob-ul-Awlia, Nabeer-e-Ghaus-ul-Azam Hazrat Saiyad Pir Miran Saiyad Ali Vali Sarkar (rd). The shrine was situated in a jungle, where he did chillakashi (spiritual retreat) and fasted for 3 years.
He stayed here in the service of Sarkar Shah E Miran (rd). Sarkar Shah E Miran (rd) made him the Professor of Spirituality.
During this period, Hazrat’s travel continued in which he visited shrines of Hazrat Shah E Aalam (rd) Ahmedabad, Hazrat Qutbe Alam (rd) Ahmedabad, Hazrat Sher Ali Shah Baba (rd) Ahmedabad, Hazrat Baba Wajihuddin Shah, Hazrat Miran Saiyad Ali Dataar (rd) Unava, Hazrat Arjunshah (rd) Petlad, Hazrat Muradshah (rd) Petlad, Hazrat Khwaja Dana Shah Naqshband (rd) Surat, and also took the blessings of these Buzurganedin.
In the light and guidance of all these Buzurgs, Hazrat has travelled to Baghdad Sharif, Iraq, has performed Hajj, including Hajj E Akbar. Twice he got a chance to do Aiteqaaf in Masjid E Nabavi (S.A.W.), during the holy month of Ramzan Ul Mubarak.
Because of the command of Piranepir Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Ghause Paak (rd), Hazrat left his paternal city & home, and made Khambhat Sharif his city & home, and has always loved it.
The sunnahs of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.), Hazrat Piranepir Ghaus E Azam Dastagir (rd), Khwaja E Khwajgaan Huzur Moinuddin Chishti (rd), Hazrat Ghausul Aalam Saiyad Makhdoom Ashraf Jahangir Simnani (rd), Hazrat Haji ul Harmain Abdurrazzak Nurul Ain (rd) and many other Buzurg’s are being emulated by Hazrat.
Following the Buzurgs’s sunnahs & by becoming the Professor of Spirituality, Hazrat is serving humanity, thru spiritual treatment. His work has spread to many countries in the world, apart from India, like UK, Canada, Mauritius, Jordan, Iran & Semnan, Syria, Palestine (Baitul Muqaddas), America, Africa, U.A.E, Saudi Arabia etc. and it is always expanding.
Looking at his will to serve humanity, Hazrat Shaikh Ul Islam, Mufti Saiyad Mohammed Madni Ashrafi Ul Jilani has also bestowed Hazrat with his Khilafat.

Accomplished and Pending Works
Hazrat Sahib built the domed shrines of Pir Miran Saiyed Ali-Saiyed Vali Sarkar, their mother Saiyedna Bibi Sakina (r) and their sister Saiyedna Bibi Naseeb-un-Nisaa (r) to gain religious and worldly benefits. Visitors to the shrines are provided with free accommodation and food.
Hazrat Sahib built the mosque, Masjid-e-Awlia, Masjid E Noorul Ain in the name of Hazrat Abdur Razzak Noorul Ain (r) Vododara, Masjid E Fatima-Tu-Zahra, Masjid E Noorul Ain at Vadodara to bring people towards Salah (prayer).
Set up the Dar-ul-Uloom Faizan-e-Ashraf, Madarsa E Qadriya Ashrafiya at Vadodara, Jamia Faizan E Ashraf Raisul Uloom at Khambhat, Jamia Bibi Zainab Fatima Lil Banaat at Khambhat and Shah E Miran Public School (English Medium) at Khambhat to give free Islamic education. Also building teachers and student accommodation and providing free food, clothing and stationary.
Built houses for the poor families that Hazrat Sahib supports and provided them with food and clothing etc.
Built a hall to see people in need, where Hazrat Sahib gives religious instruction, heals the physically and mentally ill, solves family and social problems, and provides general welfare and spiritual benefits all for free. Giving then free food and overnight stay.
Built guest houses for people wishing to stay at no charge.
Built store houses for Urs celebrations and other functions.
Land is being cleared in the jungle and water systems are being developed, telephone lines and electricity are being connected.
The whole area is being further developed for the increase in much needed work, such as expanding the mosque area, shrine, education buildings for worldly education, visitor accommodation and sanitary facilities.
Hazrat Sahib’s trained Khalifa’s (spiritual representatives) are spread throughout India, Madina E Munawwara, Mauritius, England, America, Iraq and South Africa where they continue there work.
May Allah (SWT) bless and reward Hazrat Sahib for his sincere efforts and aid him in furthering this noble cause and increase his status before Allah (SWT) and give him a long life.

The sacred land of Kichhauchha is filled with saints and the righteous. In the words of Makhdoom Pak: "Kichhauchha is my heaven" (Persian: Kichhauchha mara aasman ast). By the blessing of his (Makhdoom's) footsteps, this land gained fame and acceptance throughout the world.
Huzoor Raees-e-Millat grew up (came of age) in this same pure land. As soon as he became aware of the world, Huzoor Raees-e-Millat tasted the sweetness of the spiritual path and Sufism, and gained the joy of spiritual poverty, dervishhood, discipline and striving. He was a regular attendee of the gatherings of those who know the Truth.
He is a descendant of Ghaus-e-Azam and a great "light of the eye" (pride) of the Ashrafi family. His lineage connects through Ghaus-ul-Aalam, the one who renounced the throne, the Beloved of God, Hazrat Makhdoom Sultan Syed Ashraf Jahangir Simnani (RA), through his spiritual son, nephew, disciple and successor, Shaikh-ul-Islam Haaji-ul-Haramain Syed Abdur Razzaq Noor-ul-Ain (RA), and from him onward to the Beloved of God, Ghaus-e-Azam Huzoor Sayyidina Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA), and from there to the two noble ones, Hasan and Husain.
Through Makhdoom Pak he is called Ashrafi, through Ghaus Pak Jilani, and through Sarkar Shah Miran he is called Mirani.
The elders to whom he is connected spiritually and by lineage, the Holy Quran bears witness to their greatness and saintliness, and the Quran commentators mention them favourably in their commentaries.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّا
Surah Maryam, Verse 96:
"Indeed, those who believed and did good deeds, the Most Merciful will soon create love for them."
In Kanz-ul-Imaan with the commentary Khazain-ul-Irfan, Allama Syed Naeemuddin Muradabadi (RA) writes under this verse: meaning, He will make them His beloved and will place their love in the hearts of His servants. A hadith in Bukhari and Muslim says: when Allah loves a servant, He tells Jibreel, "So-and-so is My beloved." Jibreel begins to love him, then Jibreel announces in the heavens, "Allah loves so-and-so, so all of you love him." So the dwellers of the heavens love him, and then acceptance for him is spread widely on earth.
Point: This shows that the wide public acceptance of righteous believers and perfect saints is proof that they are beloved (of Allah). For example, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam (RA), Hazrat Sultan Nizamuddin Dehlvi, Hazrat Sultan Syed Ashraf Jahangir Simnani (RA) and other perfect saints: their general acceptance is proof of their being beloved. Prophecy of Makhdoom Pak, Noble Parents & Paternal Guide
Praise be to Allah, it is enough for his greatness that he has a connection with Mahboob-e-Subhani Huzoor Ghaus Pak by lineage, and with Mahboob-e-Yazdani Huzoor Ghaus-ul-Aalam spiritually. Regarding his very family, Huzoor Ghaus-ul-Aalam Makhdoom Pak said:
"I have prayed for the descendants of Abdur Razzaq Noor-ul-Ain that they always remain blessed and accepted, and that in every generation there be one person who is a seeker on the path and one absorbed in divine love; rather, that one such person be born in whom my nature, my fragrance and my qualities are fully present."
It is the blessing of Makhdoom Pak's prayer that Allah has granted Huzoor Raees-e-Millat such acceptance and love that whether the scholars of India, the scholars of Arab and non-Arab lands, or the elite and the common people, all acknowledge his greatness and saintliness.
His respected father, Hazrat Syed Aleem Ashraf Ashrafi al-Jilani (RA), was extremely simple in nature, God-fearing, pious, far from love of the world, and rich in the qualities of saints.
His respected mother, Syeda Shaahid-un-Nisa, daughter of Raees-ul-Muhaddiseen Syed Nawazish Ashraf Ashrafi al-Jilani (RA), was such a saintly woman whom Allah had blessed with inner enlightenment (insight), and before the guests arrived at the khanqah she would tell their exact number. This happened many times.
A person who is great and close to Allah, Allah also grants them a great spiritual guide. Syed Azeem Ashraf Ashrafi al-Jilani (RA), whose sainthood and greatness the whole region and the Ashrafi family acknowledge, is the spiritual guide of Huzoor Raees-e-Millat, from whom he had the honour of taking the pledge of discipleship (bai'at). Syed Azeem Ashraf (RA) was Huzoor Raees-e-Millat's real paternal uncle and a great God-absorbed saint, who never missed a prayer in his life and was never without ablution, so much so that even while travelling he would get off the train to pray, and would say:
"Until we have prayed, how can the train leave?"
He has received permission and successorship (khilafat) from several elders of the Sufi path, notably, from the great elder of his own Ashrafi family, Makhdoom-ul-Mashaikh Sarkar-e-Kalaan Hazrat Syed Mukhtar Ashraf Ashrafi al-Jilani (RA), and secondly from Huzoor Shaikh-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Hazrat Allama Syed Muhammad Madani Ashrafi Jilani (may his shade remain over us).
Marriage & Divine Migration to Khambhat Sharif in 1987
In 1985, his marriage took place with the grandson of Muhaddis-e-Azam-e-Hind, Sufi-e-Millat Hazrat Syed Jahangir Ashraf Ashrafi al-Jilani (RA)'s virtuous daughter, Syeda Zainab Fatima (may Allah keep her safe): his marriage was solemnised with her.
Just two years after the marriage, in 1987 CE, in the prime of his youth, on receiving an unseen (divine) sign, and especially through the inner attention of Huzoor Ghaus Pak, Peeran-e-Peer Dastageer, Sayyidina Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA), in order to revive the tradition of his elders and forefathers, he migrated to Khambhat Sharif, Anand district, Gujarat, where two grandsons of Huzoor Ghaus Pak, Sarkar Shah Miran Hazrat Peer Miran Syed Ali and Miran Syed Wali, sons of Syed Abul Fazl Muhammad son of Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA), are buried.
At this place he cut himself off from the world and all it contains, left home, homeland, family, wealth, status and grandeur, and purely to gain the pleasure of Allah and His Noble Messenger (SAW), for four years he performed severe spiritual discipline and striving.
By the blessing of Sarkar Shah Miran's inner attention and spiritual training, he reached the rank of perfection, and, gaining blessings and graces of every kind, he freshly revived the memory of Huzoor Makhdoom Pak's renunciation of his kingdom.
"Leaving the throne of Simnan, he became the Ghaus (helper) of creation; thus renouncing a kingdom made him a true Sultan."
Praise be to Allah, when his spiritual guide Syed Azeem Ashraf (RA) made Huzoor Raees-e-Millat his disciple, at that very moment he embraced him, gave him many prayers and gave him glad tidings:
"Raees, we have made you a Sultan."
(Quran 62:4) Zaalika fazlullahi yu'teehi man yashaa' — "That is the grace of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills."
Khambhat Sharif, in the state of Gujarat, is that historic and blessed city of India where many noble saints rest, especially Sarkar Shah Miran Hazrat Miran Syed Ali and Sarkar Shah Miran Hazrat Miran Syed Wali (RA). Also, the mother of both brothers, Huzoor Ghaus Pak's own daughter-in-law Sarkar Syeda Sakina Amma Sahiba, their elder sister, younger sister, and their pure wives also rest in this same sacred land, at one single place (RA).
This whole household is the household of Huzoor Peeran-e-Peer Dastageer Ghaus Pak. These elders showered such generosity on Huzoor Raees-e-Millat that they truly made him a Sultan of this world and the Hereafter, and his spiritual guide's prayer was fulfilled.
"I set out alone towards the destination, but people kept joining and a caravan formed."
Coming to the shrine of Sarkar Shah Miran in Khambhat Sharif, Huzoor Raees-e-Millat brought about a great revolution and, to revive the khanqah (Sufi lodge) system, laid the foundation of a great khanqah.
Shrines Reconstruction, Educational & Social Renaissance
He rebuilt, entirely anew, the shrine of Sarkar Shah Miran and other shrines.
He established: Masjid-ul-Auliya, Masjid Fatima-tuz-Zahra, Jamia Faizan-e-Ashraf Raees-ul-Uloom, Imam-e-Azam Research Centre, Raees-e-Millat Library, Shah Miran English Medium Public School in Khambhat Sharif; and in India and abroad he established many mosques, madrasas and welfare institutions.
Everyone who comes to the shrine of Shah Miran in Khambhat Sharif can see all these buildings and other welfare works with their own eyes, and several of his projects are under construction.
Where, before his arrival, people used to drink worldly liquor and were far from prayer, now there they are seen drinking the "wine of divine knowledge" from Raees-e-Millat's hands. The whole area echoes with the voices of "Allah said, the Messenger said" (Quran and hadith teaching); the calls of Allahu Akbar reach the ears. The whole region has become a land of light.
"Wherever the people of Ali sit, they turn that place into paradise."
This son (descendant) of Maula Ali brought people who were far from the straight path to Allah's door and connected them to Allah. He taught lost people the proper way to live, and taught them the way to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet. He made non-praying people regular in prayer and provided the means of guidance for the misguided.
He supported the helpless, embraced orphans, and brought the word of truth (the Kalima) onto the tongues of those who denied the Oneness of God. And especially, thousands of God's servants trapped in the clutches of fake exorcists and sorcerers, without distinction of religion or community, he freed from magic, evil influences, jinn and other physical, spiritual, outer and inner ailments.
In this age of materialism, if anyone wants to see what the friends of Allah, the Pure Household, the Prophet's family, are like, then they must once come to the shrine of Sarkar Shah Miran and meet Huzoor Raees-e-Millat. God willing, the memory of the pious predecessors will surely come alive for them.
If anyone thinks, asks or wants to see what Huzoor Raees-e-Millat does, what his work is, I will answer in the light of a couplet:
"The purpose of my life is the exaltation of Your religion;
that is why I am a Muslim, that is why I pray."
My benefactor, through whose blessing I was honoured to visit the court (shrine) of Ghaus Pak, the son of Raees-e-Millat, Raees-ul-Ulama Syed Jami Ashraf (may his shade remain over us): in his company, during my student days at Darul Uloom Husainiya, Himmatnagar, I first had the chance to visit the shrine of Sarkar Shah Miran, in 2002.
Eyewitness Testimonies: Children, Shifa & Divine Favours
After that I kept attending the Urs (annual commemoration). Then, from Darul Uloom Alimiya, Jamda Shahi, Basti, UP, after graduating, in 2012 I got the opportunity, at the institution founded by Hazrat, Jamia Faizan-e-Ashraf Raees-ul-Uloom, to serve as a teacher for 3 years. During this time, whenever we got time, we would attend Hazrat's gatherings.
I myself saw it many times, and many scholars and common people who come to his presence are witnesses that Allah has placed in the tongue of this prince (descendant) of Ghaus Pak such effect and blessing that whatever he says happens by Allah's command. If he told someone, "Go, your such-and-such work will be done", within a few days that person would come back with good news, so much so that even incurable patients were healed through his blessing.
Through the blessing of his prayers, Allah (granted children) in Gujarat: in Dholka 123, in Khambhat 35, Padra & Sinor 60, Baroda (Vadodara) 130, Anand 50, Ahmedabad 250, Bhavnagar 205, Kapadvanj 85. This is only for the state of Gujarat: the number of people we know by name. Besides these, countless couples in India and abroad were blessed with the gift of children.
Among them were many women whom doctors and hakims (traditional physicians) had told that they could not have children. Besides this, people suffering from cancer, paralysis, kidney disease and countless illnesses were cured through the blessing of his prayer.
The Account of Muhammad Irshad Mirani (Mauritius):
Muhammad Irshad Mirani, a resident of Mauritius in Africa, whom I know personally: doctors had told his wife that her body did not even have the part where a baby grows, so she could not have children. Praise be to Allah, through the blessing of Huzoor Raees-e-Millat, Allah gave them 2 children after 17 years, whose names Raees-e-Millat had already given 12 years earlier.
If one tried to count his miracles, a whole register would not be enough, so much so that eyewitnesses are still alive who saw that, through the blessing of his prayer, Allah gave life even to a dead person.
Truly, the people of Allah are those who, when they become Allah's, Allah becomes theirs, and whatever they say happens. In the light of the Hadith Qudsi, the tongue is theirs but the word is God's.
Allah has enriched Huzoor Raees-e-Millat with countless outer and inner virtues. He has placed healing in his hand; whoever's head he places his hand on, he changes their destiny. But his humility is such that he never says, "I did this" or "I did that"; instead he is always heard saying: all this is the grace and generosity of Allah,
Sunnah Adherence, Humility, Worship & Unconditional Hospitality
(all this is) the kindness of the Holy Prophet (SAW), and the grace of Sarkar Ghaus Pak, Ghareeb Nawaz, Makhdoom Pak and Sarkar Shah Miran.
Certainly he is a saint of perfect faith and piety. He has immense love for prayer, and keeps urging his admirers and visitors to pray. In the early days of his arrival, this miracle of his was well known: through spiritual unveiling (kashf) he would know whether a visitor prayed or not. If the person had prayed only one prayer, he would offer just one finger for the handshake; if the person had not prayed at all, he would not shake hands.
In a narration by Ibn Abi al-Dunya and Ibn Abi Asim there is this hadith: truly, the most beloved servants of Allah (the saints) are those who put the love of Allah into people's hearts and strive on this earth for the good of people.
If Raees-e-Millat is seen in the light of this hadith: we ourselves saw in his gatherings that he gives his disciples, admirers and the sick a great deal of teaching and advice. He recites verses of the Quran and hadiths of the Prophet to them, and keeps teaching stories of the saints, fear of Allah, love of the Holy Prophet (SAW), love of prayer, and especially avoiding sins.
He greatly hates lying. If a visitor comes while doing things that disobey Allah and His Messenger, he does not attend to that person until he makes them repent.
His care for people is such that he supports many poor, helpless and orphaned people; he gives financial help to the poor and needy; he has personally taken on the responsibility of running many households, and he especially takes care of his relatives and the noble Sayyid families.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, at the shrine of Sarkar Shah Miran in Khambhat Sharif, he is present to help and serve God's creation, properly fulfilling the duty of successor of Sarkar Shah Miran. Anyone who wants to meet him can meet him and talk to him. He greets every visitor with love, affection and a smiling face.
The Open Dastarkhwan & Generosity:
His dining spread (dastarkhwan) is open to every visitor. I myself saw many times that on Thursday afternoons, when the attendant brought food for him, he would ask, "Has everyone eaten?" If the answer was "no", he would send the food back and say, "If my visitors (the sick who came to him) have not eaten, how can I eat?" And it is also a fact that many times he does not eat himself and feeds others instead. Such are the people of Muhammad's household.
Unshakable Tawakkul & 35-Year Baghdad Pilgrimage (1991–2026)
He greatly honours scholars and students of Islamic madrasas, looks after them and takes full care of their needs. Today most people rely on wealth and worldly means, but in my life, in the matter of trust in Allah (tawakkul), I have found no one greater than Hazrat. His trust in Allah and His beloved servants is so strong that he neither asks anyone for anything, nor expects anything, nor lets fear of anyone enter his heart, and he never leaves anyone disappointed or hopeless. He always says: not on people or means, put your trust in Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ
(Quran 65:3) "Whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him."
His love for the saints, especially for Sarkar-e-Baghdad Ghaus Pak, is truly unique. People who travel with him to holy Baghdad can feel this. From 1991 until now, 2026, every single year without a break, he takes his children, disciples and devotees to holy Baghdad, to the shrine of Ghaus Pak and other saints, and to Najaf and holy Karbala, bringing his offering of devotion and love. God willing, this practice will continue for life.
Whatever he asked of Huzoor Ghaus Pak, and for whomever he asked, it was surely granted from the threshold of Peeran-e-Peer. And why not, since Raees-e-Millat's complete patronage and protection is by Sarkar Ghaus Pak himself. This couplet of Ala Hazrat (RA) is always on his tongue:
"Kya dabe jis pe himaayat ka ho panja tera;
sher ko khatre mein laata nahin kutta tera"
("How can one be subdued who has your hand of protection over him? Your (humble) dog does not even consider a lion a threat.")
His life is a clear explanation of (Quran 48:29) "ashiddaa'u alal-kuffaar ruhamaa'u bainahum" ("firm against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves"). Just as he is gentle with lovers of the Prophet, he is very strict with those who disrespect the Prophet. He does not even like to meet those who disrespect Allah, the Prophet and the saints.
His passion of faith for the religion is such that I personally know he has contributed large sums of his own money to the construction and development of many mosques and madrasas, and even for his own Jamia and mosque he has many times spent his personal money to cover the expenses, but never accepted asking anyone for money.
Besides this, he has countless virtues that cannot be described in this short writing. This is why, as Allah says in the Holy Quran: indeed, those who believed and did good deeds, the Most Merciful will soon create love for them; He will place their love in the hearts of His servants.
Global Devotees, 150 Khulafa & National Hadith Knowledge Movement
Today, across Arab and non-Arab lands (France, UK, Australia, Canada, America, Africa, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Syria, Turkey, Palestine, Bangladesh), and even in the two Holy Sanctuaries of Makkah and Madinah, holy Baghdad, Najaf, Karbala, and in every state and every corner of India, Huzoor Raees-e-Millat has countless devotees and followers.

And praise be to Allah, this humble one (the author) was also blessed by him, at the royal court (shrine) of Huzoor Ghaus-ul-Aalam, with his permission and khilafat. He is also my teacher. Many times I had the chance to attend his teaching gatherings and benefit from his sermons and advice. Praise be to Allah for that.
The mission of Huzoor Raees-e-Millat's life is that the Sunni public be united, be one. For this purpose, every year on the occasion of the Urs of Sarkar Shah Miran in Khambhat Sharif, he invites great scholars and masters from around the world, and especially the heads of every madrasa and khanqah in India and the general public, so that everyone together can take the work of religion forward, and the Muslim community gets proper training and guidance.
And every year, under the supervision of his two sons, Syed Jami Ashraf Sahab and Syed Nizami Ashraf Sahab, he invites students of Islamic universities and madrasas from across the country and holds a hadith knowledge competition, so that our scholars and students, by memorising the Prophet's hadiths, can refute and counter the opponents of hadith and false sects, especially the Ghair-Muqallideen (those who reject following a school of law).
For guests who come to him, especially scholars, masters and students, he makes proper arrangements for travel and stay. Praise be to Allah, so far several hundred students have taken part in the hadith competition and been enriched by the blessings of the Prophet's hadith and of Sarkar Shah Miran.
For those who come to his presence, seeing his beauty of face and character and his noble manners brings back the memory of their pious predecessors.

The summary of all this is that Huzoor Raees-e-Millat, following the way of his forefathers and masters, has devoted every day and night of his life to serving the religion and Sunni tradition, preaching the faith, and the welfare of God's creation.

Concluding Supplication (Dua):
I pray that Allah, for the sake of His noble Beloved (SAW), grant my honoured spiritual guides, Huzoor Shaikh-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Hazrat Allama Shah Syed Muhammad Madani Ashrafi Jilani and Huzoor Raees-e-Millat Allama Shah Syed Raees Ashraf Ashrafi al-Jilani Mirani, and their families, children and sons, long and good lives, and the ability to serve the firm religion further; and that He spread their blessings widely and fully over the members of the Ashrafi order and all Ahl-e-Sunnat.
Ameen, for the sake of the Master of the Messengers (SAW).

Huzoor Rais-e-Millat: A Tribute to His Service, Spiritual Grace, and Devotion
MashaAllah, SubhanAllah.
The following account has been compiled from information shared by devotees and admirers of Huzoor Rais-e-Millat from various parts of Gujarat and all over India, following their efforts to research and verify the details presented herein.
It is widely recounted by those who have sought his prayers and spiritual guidance that countless individuals have experienced spiritual benefit and relief through his supplications and counsel. Many people who were facing confusion, hardship, and distress are said to have found renewed direction and peace. Families who had long awaited the blessing of children have related experiences of being blessed with offspring, while others facing various personal difficulties, trials, and hardships have expressed that they subsequently experienced relief, ease, and renewed happiness.
These accounts represent one aspect of the character and service of a person whose life is devoted to prayer, integrity, truthfulness, worship, spiritual discipline, and adherence to the Shariah. He holds deep love for the Master of the Two Worlds, the Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa صلى الله عليه وسلم, and regards adherence to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم as an essential part of his life.
He considers service to the creation of Allah Almighty to be a sacred responsibility. He listens with compassion to the concerns of those who approach him and, within his capacity, strives to assist them in overcoming their difficulties. Love for Allah Almighty, His Noble Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم, and the pious servants whom Allah has accepted, together with reliance upon Allah, forms an important part of his spiritual teachings.
The Hadith Qudsi
The elevated station of those servants of Allah who devote themselves to worship and righteousness is beautifully described in the following Hadith Qudsi:
Translation:
"My servant continues to draw nearer to Me through voluntary acts of worship until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he grasps, and his foot with which he walks. And if he asks Me, I will surely grant him what he asks for."

O Karbala, upon your destiny, millions of salutations.
Allah Almighty has, throughout the world, blessed humanity with pious servants who dedicate their lives to worship, spiritual discipline, adherence to the Sunnah, and service to His creation.
Among these revered personalities is Peer-e-Tariqat, Rehbar-e-Shariat, Mazhar-e-Karamat-e-Ghaus-e-Azam, Huzoor Rais-e-Millat Hazrat Sayyed Rais Ashraf Ashrafi-ul-Jilani Mirani (Janasheen-e-Sarkar Shah-e-Miran), of Khambhat Shareef.
The Testimony of a Devotee
Alhamdulillah.
I, Hafiz-o-Qari Malik Jahangir, son of Malik Ali (Ashrafi Mirani), presently residing in Kapadvanj, District Kheda, Gujarat, have had the honour of remaining in the blessed company of Huzoor Rais-e-Millat for approximately twenty-five years.
During this period, I have had the privilege of travelling with Huzoor Rais-e-Millat to various parts of India. I have also been blessed with the opportunity to accompany him on several journeys for Umrah-e-Mubarak and for the ziyarat of Karbala, Najaf-e-Ashraf, and Baghdad Shareef.
Through this extended companionship and personal observation, I have consistently witnessed Huzoor Rais-e-Millat devoted to the worship and spiritual discipline of Allah Almighty, expressing profound love for the Master of the Two Worlds صلى الله عليه وسلم, adhering to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم, and rendering sincere service to the creation of Allah.
I have always observed my Peer-o-Murshid living in accordance with the Shariah and striving to put the teachings of Islam into practice. One of the most prominent aspects of his life is his commitment to guiding people, listening to their concerns, and praying for their well-being.
The Tradition of Meeting Devotees at the Aastana-e-Aaliya
I have heard from my forefathers that, for approximately forty years, my Peer-o-Murshid has maintained the practice of meeting people every week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Aastana-e-Aaliya, Nabiraan-e-Ghaus-e-Azam, Mehboob-ul-Auliya, Sarkar Shah-e-Miran, Ashraf Nagar, Khambhat Shareef, District Anand, Gujarat.
These gatherings have never been limited merely to personal meetings. They have also served as occasions for spiritual guidance, listening to the concerns of visitors, and offering prayers for their difficulties and needs.
People from different walks of life would come seeking guidance and requesting prayers. Some would later return and share their experiences of finding relief in their difficulties or the fulfilment of their heartfelt supplications.
On such occasions, Huzoor Rais-e-Millat would often humbly state:
"O people, this is not the result of any personal ability or deed of mine. Rather, it is all through the grace and blessings of my noble forefathers: Peer-e-Piraan, Meer-e-Miraan, Sayyiduna Ghaus-e-Azam; his grandson, Nabiraan-e-Ghaus-e-Azam, Meeran Sarkar; and our Huzoor Makhdoom Ashraf."
These words reflect his humility and his profound spiritual attachment to the revered saints and elders of his lineage.
A saying traditionally attributed to Huzoor Ghaus-ul-Aalam, Tariq-us-Saltanat, Peer Miran, Ahad-ud-Deen, Makhdoom Sultan Sayyed Ashraf Jahangir Simnani is also narrated:
"Whenever my descendants leave Ruhabad and travel elsewhere, Ashraf is with them."
A Prayer
May Allah Almighty bless our Peer-o-Murshid, Huzoor Rais-e-Millat, Sarkar Sayyed Rais Ashraf Ashrafi-ul-Jilani Mirani, with abundant blessings in his life, health, knowledge, righteous deeds, and continued service.
May Allah Almighty increase him in knowledge, righteous action, spiritual elevation, and acceptance, and grant us the ability to benefit from his noble teachings, remain steadfast upon the Shariah and Sunnah, and cultivate a sincere commitment to serving the creation of Allah.
May Allah Almighty make us righteous, steadfast in prayer, truthful, honest, and faithful to our religion. May He grant us the honour of living our lives with love and respect for the pious servants of Allah and his beloved prophet muhammed pbuh and the revered elders of our faith.
